This started by a quick draw of Fridrik Olafsson and Alina Kašlinkaja after 16 moves, when any of the two sides didn´t want to take a risk. After the beginning of the game against Wolfgang Uhlmann, Kristýna Havlíková obtained a promising position, but she didn´t continue very exactly, being in a time distress, and she broke it by a mistake that costs her one rook and she literally offered to Wolfgang the point. In the game of Vlastimil Hort with Valentina Gunina, Hort playing with white, gained a very hopeful position, but one insidious move 31…b6 changed completely the situation and Valentina got into the material advantage of queen and knight against 2 rooks. However not even this was decisive, Valentina lost the knight and she had to be content with a draw by eternal check. And also the last game of Oleg Romanišin and Tania Sachdev finished by a draw in the endgame after strategicly led fight and so Oldhands obtained this day 2,5 : 1,5 points.
