Quiz of GM Hort and lectures by GM Markoš and GM Cvek

[27.05.2014 00:00:00] - You can find extraordinary interesting chess lectures in the program of ČEZ CHESS TROPHY 2014 festival. Favourite quiz of legendary Czech grandmaster Vlastimil Hort, this time on the topic of famous chess games, will take place right before the third game of grandmasters Nakamura and Navara (Monday 9th of June, starting at 3PM in Michna Palace). Besides the quiz, you can also look forward to a lecture from grandmaster Hort "Chess figures and figurines of Prague" and lessons of grandmasters Robert Cvek and Ján Markoš, which can help you improve yourselves in chess. Grandmaster Markoš will have his lesson on Sunday 8th June at 3 PM in Michna Palace ("How to think as a grandmaster or Classical mistakes of amateurs") and grandmaster Cvek´s lecture will take place on Tuesday 10th of June at 3PM also in Michna Palace ("When to trade bishops for knights or Plans with minor pieces in middle game and in endings").

If you want not only to listen to grandmasters but also to play against them, you can sing yourself to simultaneous game with Hikaru Nakamura, now the seventh best player in the world rating list.
