Auction of chess literature

Old treasures and rarities of chess literature, as well as classical chess and proven books, you can auction off during the auction of chess literature, which will take place on 18 th Saturday 2011 from 1pm in Michna Palace in Prague - Kampa (Entrance from Vsehrdova street) within the chess festival ČEZ CHESS TROPHY 2011.

"In the online auction eBay.com I have already bought many beautiful and interesting chess books, including some very old titles. For example a book about the first international chess tournament, held in 1851 in London. I hope I will have a similar opportunity during this live auction, which will be led by experienced auctioneer, publisher and collector Bretislav Modr," said director of the chess festival Pavel Matocha.

It is also a good opportunity for you to sell your old chess books profitably. These books will be accepted into the sale from 9 to 10 am and immediately exposed. The organizer will make a decision about the acceptance of specific chess books into the sale. After acceptance there is no possibility for sellers to draw off their books from the sale until the end of the auction. A seller will receive 85% from the price of the auctioned books immediately after the auction ends, when there will also be returned unsold books.
