ČERNOBÍLÁ CESTA (BLACK AND WHITE ROUTE)
The most beautiful studies and problems of Mario Matouš, the best Czech chess composer of the 20th century, and bizarre chess stories of Pavel Houser connected by illustrations of Kristina Peřichová into one splendid book.
The book was published also in limited numbered edition (100 copies), bound in imitation leather with an embossed diagram, paper cover and sewn ribbon bookmark.
On 240 pages you will found 45 studies and problems, 22 stories and 36 illustrations. The book is supplemented by biographies of both of the authors and several yet non-published photos. The book was published by Prague chess society in 2014.

Team competition
[13.05.2013] - Chess Train was never been only a contest of individuals in rapid, but it has always been also a journey of friends. First year was numerously reigned by chess-players from Garde Lipovec, their scepter was taken over by players of ŠK PORG last year. New this year will be a team competition. The results of the best three players of each team will be summed up and winning team will obtain a special prize.

[13.05.2013] - “We started to cooperate with chef Jaroslav Sapík, who have cooked even for the Queen of England, and we're going to prepare an entirely new menu for chess-players. I believe, they will be utterly satisfied with luncheons in dining car,” promises director general of JLV Bohumír Bárta.
Even greater gastronomic experience may afford the participants of Chess Train in individual phase cities. In Regensburg, Innsbruck and Salzburg, they can visit not only restaurants priced with Michelin stars, but also the oldest functioning restaurant in Europe, whose history goes back to year 803.

[12.05.2013] - Illustrator, graphic designer and film artist Luděk Bárta is being the one, who imprinted his distinctive, playful tone to the graphic materials of this year's chess match ČEZ Chess Trophy. Prague chess society continues this way in cooperation with famous artists, when preparing the posters and press materials on chosen chess events.

Former and future Women's World Chess Champion comes to Prague
[16.04.2013] - Hou Yifan, 19-years-old chinese GM, which became the Women's World Chess Champion as 16-years-old, will be the chief guest of the ČEZ CHESS TROPHY 2013 festival. She will play a match against the best czech GM David Navara and a simultaneous exhibition in Prague.
The festival starts with the simultaneous exhibition, in the same way as two years ago, when the main guest was the World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand. On Sunday 9th of June at 3 p.m., 30 chess-players will have the opportunity to play against the current No. 2 female player in the world.
