ČERNOBÍLÁ CESTA (BLACK AND WHITE ROUTE)
The most beautiful studies and problems of Mario Matouš, the best Czech chess composer of the 20th century, and bizarre chess stories of Pavel Houser connected by illustrations of Kristina Peřichová into one splendid book.
The book was published also in limited numbered edition (100 copies), bound in imitation leather with an embossed diagram, paper cover and sewn ribbon bookmark.
On 240 pages you will found 45 studies and problems, 22 stories and 36 illustrations. The book is supplemented by biographies of both of the authors and several yet non-published photos. The book was published by Prague chess society in 2014.

[15.06.2015] - The ČEZ CHESS TROPHY 2015 festival continued on the third day, providing the chess enthusiasts with the same big portion of their beloved activity as in the previous days. The main Sunday event was preceded by an exhibition of historical Czech chess pieces from Petr Král’s collection.

[14.06.2015] - The second day of the CEZ CHESS TROPHY 2015 started with the book launch of the grandmaster David Navara’s book „Můj šachový svět“ (My Chess World). The best Czech chess player presented his book to the visitors, who completely filled up the room, and also explained how his first work came to life. The book stirred up everyone’s interest, which was apparent also from the long line of chess enthusiasts waiting for the author’s signature.

[13.06.2015] - The Filipino-American grandmaster Wesley So played a simul against 22 opponents (some of whom with ELO rating over 2200) in a quickfire tempo. On all the chessboards he opened with 1.e4 and those who responded with 1...e5 had to face the King’s gambit. As if the former world champion Boris Spassky himself was playing... [11.06.2015] - “I try to make the chess public acquainted with a part of the chess history – the Czech chess pieces called “české klubovky”. They have accompanied us since the end of the 19th century, and they still do even now.
