TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

- 9-rounds rapid chess open tournament by Swiss System
- rate of play: 2x 20 min with increment of 10 s per move
- results are not rated on the ELO list
- number of participants is limited by the capacity of the train (the organizer decides about the acceptance on the basis of the order in which the applications were received)
- all games are played in the train
- entry fee EUR 199 (EUR 149 for non-playing accompanying passengers)
- prize fund: CZK 40.000 and material prizes and services in value of at least CZK 60.000

13/10/2017 – 10:00 – departure from Prague (1st-2nd round en route to Olomouc)
14/10/2017 – 10:00 – departure from Olomouc (3rd-4th round will be played en route to Trencin)
15/10/2017 – 10:00 – departure from Trencin (5th round will be played en route to Bratislava)
16/10/2017 – 10:00 – departure from Bratislava (6th-7th round will be played en route to Lednice)
17/10/2017 – 10:00 – departure from Lednice (8th–9th rounds will be played en route to Prague)

The exact times of departures and arrivals, as well as the location of train stations may be changed according to the current situation on the railway.
