The Chess Train 2014 went on the route Prague (Czech Republic) - Vienna (Austria) - Budapest (Hungary) - Trencin (Slovakia) - Krakow (Poland) - Prague from 10th to 14th of October. Australian grandmaster Ian Rogers became the winner of the 12-rounds tournament in the rapid chess. GM Martin Petr (the winner of the Chess Train 2012) finished the 2nd and GM Vlastimil Hort (the winner of the Chess Train 2013) was 3rd. 76 players from 16 countries all around the world have participated in the tournament, including players from Brazil, Canada, Israel, Saudi Arabia or Iceland.
